A straight tube bong is essentially a smaller version of the original large, wide-bodied bong. It has a small mouthpiece that opens up on one end like a bouquet of flowers, and a long stem on the other. This shape enables you to draw in smoke without inhaling it directly, which is perfect for smoking and also for rolling your own cigarettes. You can use this as a tobacco alternative as well. However, I don't really consider this to be a bong. I consider it more like a vaporizer.

These days you can find straight tube bongs in a number of different sizes and shapes. You can even get them in colors that match your favorite sports team's logo! The next time you go out and are looking for something small and compact to put your head on while smoking something, you might want to try a beaker bong. Beakers are a very popular choice among many people who don't smoke, but who also happen to like to drink tea, particularly herbal types of tea. If you happen to like drinking green or herbal flavored beverages like chai tea, then you should consider having a beaker bong.

Another type of straight tube bong that you might consider is a glass beaker. Similar in shape to the original beaker, the glass beaker bong works much like a traditional beaker, except it has glass stems and a single, wide hole on the bottom. The difference is that you place your glass stem into this hole, press it down into the liquid, and inhale the steam! These ice catcher bongs generally work best for ice fishing (especially if your water is really cold) because they're designed not to take the weight of the ice & the moisture, so they're much more stable. You can even throw them into a Ziploc bag and store them away until ready to use!

Lastly, there are water pipes that are designed to function like the bowls from the previous items. These water pipes are called borosilicate glass and they give you the ability to smoke large amounts of tobacco without any issues with getting burned or damaged. They work much the same as regular bowls, except instead of being able to hold a lot of water, they can safely hold two liters of liquid. Since they are clear, however, you'll want to be sure they don't get dusty, since this could make them less than appealing.

They come in all sorts of styles, sizes and materials, so make sure to shop around until you find the right one for you! The price range varies quite a bit as well, but the quality is certainly not to be overlooked. With a little shopping and research, you can end up with the perfect song for your needs.
